Itinerary:

DAY 1: HUARAZ - OLLEROS - TZACRACANCHA
After breakfast in the hotel, we will depart from Huaraz at approximately 8AM, heading towards the south side of the city of Huaraz until reaching the town of Olleros and from there until Carey chico. We will be arriving there at approximately 10AM, where the porter will be waiting for us to transport all the camping equipement. After a 5 hour walk we will arrive the first camping area, on the way we will observe the great mountains Urhuashraju, Tuntupunta, Rurec, and many more. We will be arriving to the camping area at approximately 3 or 4 PM. We will spend the night at an altitude of 3,800 masl.

DAY 2: TZACRACANCHA - SHONGOPAMPA
Very early in the morning we will head to our second camping ground and will be enjoying all the way views of the great mountains and the Inca trail. After ascending for approximately 4 hours we will reach the overpass Yanashallash (4700masl), where a representation of the Andean Trilogy is found standing. After spending some time in this place we will descend heading towards the Shongopampa stream valley, (3850 masl), where we will be camping for the night.


DAY 3: SHONKOPAMPA - CHAVIN DE HUANTAR - HUARAZ
After breakfast we will depart very early heading to Chavin de Huantar, today we will only be descending, passing by the small villages of Chichucancha, and Jato, reaching Chavin at approximately 11AM. Afterwards we will visit the archeological center of Chavin de Huantar for approximatley 2 hours, where our transportation will be awating us for our return to the city of Huaraz. After travelling for approximately an tour we will reach teh Cuhuish túnel of 600 masl. of longitud, (4450 masl). Then we will begin descending, passing by Lake Querococha (3900 masl) in the district of Catac. Then we will head towards the North, passing by the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa, Mashuan, and Toclla and finally arriving to Huaraz at approximately 5PM. Transportation to the Hotel.
