| Laclash – Carpa | ||||||||
ITINERARY: 4 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS IN THE MOUNTAIN DAY 1.- We will depart from Huaraz very early in the morning, heading towards the town of Tallenga, taking the south part of the Callejón de huaylas, which is the place where our trek begins. Passing by the town of Santa Rosa we will arrive to Pacsac, where we will camp for the night.
DAY 2.- From Pacsac we will continue our trek passing by Laclash , a place characterized by its resemblance to a volcano, in this case cold and orange in color, until we arrive to lake Yanacocha, where we will camp for the night. DAY 3.-From Yanacocha we will continue or trek heading towards the Huarapasca (4780m) overpass to then descend by the Pumapampa river valley with the possibility to ascend the snow-capped mountain Pastoruri. We will camp at the crossroad of Huayacu. DAY 4.- We will visit the Puyas Raymondi, which are flowers with more than 12 meters of altitude, a lake with an incomparable color and a natural source of gasified mineral water. Afterwards we will finally arrrive to control of the Huascaran Nacional Park where our bus will be awating for us to take us back to Huaraz. |
