One of the most important rock forrests of Peru, Hatunmachay, is located at 75 Km. South of Huaraz, before reaching lake Conococha in the Cordillera Negra. Hatunmachay is denominated as a place where there have been contacts of extraterrestrial nature. It is a forrest of varied geological formations, where rock figures, hills of capricious silhouettes and natural rock balconies are abundant. It’s a magical place where our sight and imagination serve to give life and shape to everything that could be seen. In this circuit it’s also possible to include a visit to Lake Conococha.
