1 Day. Huaraz –pashpa–Campo Base
Transfer to the small village of pashpa (3600 msnm) aprox. Where our
porter and donkeys wait for us and who will be in charge of transporting
our mountain equipment until the base camp (4250msnm), while we move
enjoying the impressing scenic views the Ishinca river valley offers
us.
2 day. Campo Base – Camp 1
We will begin our slow ascent after breakfast, through a
zigzagging trail for approximately 2 hours, until the Glacier Tab
from where we will use our mountain equipment to ascend through the
snow until reaching Camp 1 (5200msnm) from where we will have a spectacular
view of the Cordillera Blanca.
3 Day. Camp 1 – Summit –Campo Base
After breakfast we will begin our ascend to the summit at
2AM during 4 hours. AT approximately 6AM we will reach the summit,
and after enjoying it we will descend back to Camp 1(5200msnm) to
return to the Base Camp (4250msnm).
4 Day. Campo Base –pashpa– Huaraz
At 9AM we will begin our walk back through the Ishinca Valley
to the small village of Pashpa, where our transportation will be awaiting
for us to take us back to Huaraz. Free afternoon and celebration.
